About 60 entrepreneurs gathered in France from October 9 to 11 to attend the 8th edition of the Annual Training Seminar co-organized by I&P and the African Club of Entrepreneurs. Operating in 12 Sub-Saharan African countries, from Mauritania to Madagascar, the entrepreneurs were gathered for three days around the topic " Managing Change in the Company".

This seminar was also the opportunity to organize the General Assembly of the African Club of Entrepreneurs, with the election of the new members of the Executive Board.

A wide range of entrepreneurs' profiles focusing on a common theme: the conduct of change in the company

The 60 entrepreneurs attending the seminar came from twelve different countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Uganda and Uganda. The profiles were diverse, in terms of company size and relational history with I&P: some are among I&P's first investments, others have joined the portfolio much more recently. Among the entrepreneurs, many were accompanied not by I&P directly, but by one of the five African funds sponsored by I&P: Comoé Capital in Côte d'Ivoire, Miarakap in Madagascar, Sinergi Burkina, Sinergi Niger and Teranga Capital in Senegal.

The training was conducted by the Ivorian firm Strategy S.A. and four speakers: Valentine Kouassi-Vanie, Strategy and Development Advisor, Constantin Salameh, Claude-Hélène Maellet and Anette Babouka. The seminar was organised in two phases: a masterclass addressing the main issues, and a series of practical workshops based on concrete case studies.
