The African international network Enko Education announced today the launch of a new primary school in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. In order to meet the growing demand from parents, this school will be the primary section of the international school Enko Ouaga Campus.

Enko Ouaga Campus aims to offer parents a continuum of high-quality international education. After obtaining accreditation for the Diploma Programme, the highest qualification in the International Baccalaureate (IB) education system, Enko Ouaga Campus is taking on a new challenge: that of delivering the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The PYP is the first of the IB's four programmes of study.

The primary school will be located in the Kalgondin district, not far from the current secondary school. The start of the school year in September 2020 will welcome students from CPU to CM2 grades.

"We  saw a demand for the primary grades and thought we could do it right by imagining creating the first school in the IB continuum in the French-speaking Sahel country"
Mr. Thierry Adam, Founding Director of Enko Ouaga Campus.
