Each year, Investisseurs & Partenaires monitors and publishes a report of the environmental, social and governance impact of its different lines of business. Launched in 2002, I&P Développement line (IPDEV 1, IPDEV 2) aims at create, develop and sponsor a dozen impact funds and support 500 SMEs in several sub-Saharan African countries.

Sapta is a company producing and selling cleaning products in Niger. After a set-up phase, the company began production of multi-purpose powdered detergents under the Sapta brand. Today, it is the only company in Niger that produces this type of product locally. The company is also interested in the solid soap market for which it offers mainly 120g and 180g soaps under the brand name Haske. These soaps are multi-purpose and can be used for washing, cleaning and toiletry.
THE ENTREPRENEUR
Sapta was founded in 2015 by Mohamed Ahmed Abdourahamane, who after his Higher Technician's Certificate (BTS) in marketing, obtained in 2007, started in the agribusiness as an importer of rice and oil between Niger, Benin and Nigeria. Following the crisis of the Naira in 2009 and the drop in the price of oil in 2014 that shook Nigeria, the commercial activities of the promoter in the direction of Nigeria were strongly affected. It is on this occasion that he identified the sanitary products sector as a good investment opportunity in Niger where he is originally from.
SINERGI'S CONTRIBUTION
Sapta is supported by Sinergi and I&P through I&P Acceleration in Sahel. The main objective of this project, which will be deployed over a period of 24 months, is to supply raw materials from Côte d'Ivoire in order to prepare Sapta for the consolidation of production and to mitigate any future risk of stock outs.

Hygiène Solution Niger is a company providing cleaning services for households and companies in Niger.
L'ENTREPRENEURE
The company is managed by Mrs. Rabi MAHAOUYA ARGIS. Holder of a degree in Human Resources and a training in customs transit, she accumulated professional experiences mainly as a commercial agent, then in logistics, before turning to human resources management. Over time, she has trained herself in public hygiene and masters the various stages of product preparation before processing.

Hygiène Solution Niger is supported by Sinergi Niger through I&P Acceleration in Sahel program. The funding granted is intended to contribute to the improvement of the quality of services provided by Hygiène Solution Niger (acquisition of tools and modern equipment, gradual integration of organic products, evacuation of waste to landfill).

Salma is a company specialized in agro-industry. It produces feed for livestock (sheep, cattle, goats) based on fodder, agro-industrial products and minerals.
THE ENTREPRENEUR
Salma was created by Mrs. Nafissa Hamidou ABDOULAYE. She holds a state diploma in midwifery and a higher technician diploma in public health, a bachelor's degree in epidemiology and biostatistics and a master's degree in project management. She benefits from the expertise and permanent technical support of INRAN researchers in the implementation of her project.

Sahel Délices is a company specialized in the production and marketing of food products (juices, herbal teas, jams, etc.) made from local raw materials from Niger. Juices made from local plants such as bissap or baobab are the company's flagship products.
THE ENTREPRENEUR
Sahel Délices was founded by Ms. Rockya Bachir. She holds a master's degree in management with an option in quality and change and another master's degree in finance and banking from the Institut Supérieur de Management. She received practical training in food processing for "family consumption" in Senegal and is part of the 15th promotion of the UEMOA Talent du Monde program in Brittany.

Created in 2017, NIGERcab is a VTC (Vehicle of Transport with Driver) service, the first to have offered a private, secure and comfortable door-to-door individual transportation service in Niamey.
THE ENTREPRENEUR
Mr. Amadou Maiga Seydou created NIGERcab in 2017 with three partners. Holder of a Diploma of Professional Aptitude (DAP) in Customs Transit, he received training in transport logistics. Before the creation of the company, he held for 4 years, a position of driver at Babati Automobile where he drove the consultants of ALCATEL LUCIEN.

Created by Chérif Louan, Editions Afrique Lecture (EAL) specializes in the publishing and production of after-school books (annals of middle and high school classes). Its editorial line also enables it to publish works of literature (in French and national languages), essays and textbooks (course books, books, etc.). THE ENTREPRENEUR
Cherif LOUAN is a publisher, graphic designer, editor and modeler. He holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Applied Mathematics and Physics (with the use of computer tools) from Kharkov State University in Ukraine - USSR. Author, co-author, editor and composer of several books (3rd and 4th grade mathematics, descriptive statistics textbook, physics and chemistry textbook for 6th to 3rd grade), he has 15 years of textbook composition at Editions Afique Lecture. He is the president of the network of publishers in Niger and managing director for the book sector at the Agency for the Promotion of Enterprises and Cultural Industries.

ETC is a small cereal processing and marketing company based in Niamey and managed by Mrs Liman Aminatou.
ETC sources raw materials produced by small-scale producers in Niger (millet, sorghum, rice) and markets food products (flour, couscous, dégué, etc.).
SINERGI Niger invested in the company in 2009 and made an exit in 2014.
COMPANY BACKGROUND
In 5 years, the company has doubled its turnover and reached a profitability of 16%. It has created 9 jobs, mainly for women. SINERGI supported the promoter in the financial structuring of its activity and in obtaining new commercial contracts.
The exit was achieved in 2014, with an annual internal rate of return (IRR) of 10% for SINERGI. The promoter wanted SINERGI's support to continue after the exit, proof of the quality of the relationship.

Idée Féminine is an industrial company specialized in the packaging of raw materials. The company counts today in its customer portfolio almost all the large distribution stores of the capital Niamey.

The founder, Souradja ABDOU ASSOUMA to enter into entrepreneurship by starting processing and marketing informally. She has been a member of the network of the women's entrepreneurship unit of the Niger Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Handicrafts (CCIAN) since 2014, which has enabled her to follow several training modules.
