StarNews Mobile, a start-up specialized in the field of mobile video that achieved a first fundraising with I&P, announced it has joined the fourth Snap Inc.’s Yellow Accelerator, a program launched in May 2018 for entrepreneurs working at the intersection of content creation and technology.

Launched in July 2020, Le Lionceau was one of the first companies to benefit from I&P Acceleration in Sahel.

As part of this ambitious program for young Sahelian companies, we met Siny Samba and Rémi Filasto, founders of this company that specializes in the production of baby food products in Senegal.

Jiro-Ve, a pioneering company in rural electrification in Madagascar, is completing its last funding round. Besides Miarakap and I&P (through its program I&P Acceleration Technologies), Jiro-Ve has received the backing of the  international humanitarian agency Catholic Relief Services.

The Malian company Teliman, supported by our program I&P Acceleration Technologies, recently received a $50,000 loan through the online platform Kiva. This loan will help the startup provide quality jobs, health insurance, and productive asset ownership to Malian youth moto-taxi drivers.

Teliman is the very first on-demand motorcycle-taxi service in Bamako, Mali.

In 2004, Bagoré Bathily launched in Senegal La Laiterie du Berger, a company dedicated to promoting locally produced milk. From the very beginning, the company received support from I&P, which was also just getting started at the time.

Rensource, a leading West African renewable energy services provider supported by I&P since 2020, is deploying a 700 KWp solar photo-voltaic plant to Nigeria´s largest egg producer, Premium Poultry Farms.

The project is led in partnership with the Norwegian impact investment company, Empower New Energy.
