In a new report entitled “Using Catalytic Capital to Foster African Entrepreneurs in Underserved Markets,” published in partnership with the Catalytic Capital Consortium, I&P showcases the effectiveness of catalytic capital in supporting African SMEs, offering recommendations to expand its use.

I&P publishes its Annual Impact Report

 

I&P is pleased to present its Annual Impact Report, that presents the collective results of our different programs and funds.

The report presents an overview of I&P's activities and impact methodology and goes through our six impact pillars : developing Africa entrepreneurship, creating decent jobs, providing SDG-aligned goods and services, promoting women's empowerment, strengthening the local economic fabric and fostering environmentally-friendly development.

I&P's gender policy: What about gender diversity in private equity?

 

For the International Women's Rights Day, I&P evaluated its gender policy on the basis of the annual report of the Deloitte & France Invest "Talents & Diversity" Commission, which aims to promote and encourage the role of women and gender diversity in the Capital Investment business.

Afrique Créative Edition #2 is on !

 

126 applications were received during the call for applications which lasted from April 19th to May 5th. The 82 eligible applications were reviewed and evaluated by the national partner incubator, an institutional representative (AFD, French Embassy or Institut français), and a partner from the ICC or entrepreneurial ecosystem per country.

Afrique Créative 2021: the second edition of the programme is open!

 

After a pilot edition started in October 2019 for four countries, the acceleration programme funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and managed by a consortium composed of Africalia, I&P Conseil, Zhu Culture and the Bayimba Foundation is opening a second call for applications, with the same objective: to demonstrate the economic potential of the cultural and creative industries on the continent through capacity building of businesses in the sector.

Entrepreneurs of the Afrique Créative programme respond to the Covid-19 crisis

 

Following the Covid-19 global pandemic, all economic activities were slowed down, with international travel totally banned between March and June in France and Belgium. In the countries of our entrepreneurs, containment and curfews have been put in place. Remote working has become widespread in all companies. This unprecedented situation has forced organisers and entrepreneurs of the Afrique Créative programme to learn how to work and live in this context.

Launch of the Creative Africa program, carried out with I&P Conseil

 

I&P Conseil has won, along with several African partners (Zhu Culture, Bayimba) and the Africalia agency, the " Afrique Créative" call for proposals on cultural and creative industriesfrom the French Development Agency (AFD), which will enable it to support cultural and creative businesses in 4 African countries.
